Marguerite, Toshio and Keiko Shimada from Saitama, Japan.


When it comes to Toshio-san, he goes to Shizuoka. This is my home town and he is one of our best tennis-players. He is the best. Every weekend he practices in order to catch up on his skills. It takes 3 hrs to drive from Saitama to Shizuoka even if you use the high-way. Surprisingly, he spends 6 hrs in order to get there and come back home. Total 6 hrs!! Can you believe it?

    ６時間かけて移動して、テニスをする時間はどのくらいでしょうか？

    Margueriteは、25年位前アラモアナでテニスを始めたときからの古いお付き合いをしています。時々島田さんの名前を聞いています。ここにMargueriteが登場するとは、不思議な縁です。
