The weather at Waikiki in Hawaii, is the best in the world. It is warm and dry throughout the year (70~90F). No hurricanes, no heavy rains, no earthquakes. Money can not buy weather. モクモクモクと!!

No2コートからワイキキ方向を見上げると湧き上がるように白い雲が流れています。青い空に白い雲が何かを表現するような形を作り動いています。こうやって雲を見て動きを感じるだけでもテニスコートに来ていい気持ちになります。周りの景色がリラックスさせてくれるんですね。

Aloha Chako and Jiro!

Long-time visitors, Chako and Jiro, will be returning back to Hawaii in one month (around January 27). They have not played much tennis in the last few years. Maybe, they'll try to play when they get here. If you see them, stop by and say "Hello" to this very nice couple. (File photo Jan 2014)

Bob and David

ゲームが終わり次の出番を待つベンチで Bob and David がコート上のゲームの進行を眺めています。 Bob 毎朝8時前にコートに出かけてきます。1ゲーム楽しんだ後 Bob ベンチで休み次のゲームを楽しんでいます。ベンチでゆったり進んでいるゲームを見ながら拍手をしたり声をかけたりして共に楽しむのがいいですね。

賑わうベンチ　The 100th post in this month.

Charle がコートにやって来てNo2コートに入って来ました。ベンチが満員でズラリと待っているプレーヤーが座っているので今日は、沢山のプレーヤーが集まっているんだねと言いながら空いてるベンチに座りました。8時頃 Charle 毎日コートにやって来てプレーヤーが気持ちよく楽しんでいるのを眺め皆に声をかけています。

Bike メンテナンス

ハワイでは、自転車のレースも沢山ありトレーニングしている人達も沢山います。自転車でダイヤモンドヘッド周回ロードをトレーニングし楽しんだ自転車をメンテナンスする人がテニスコート脇で作業をしていました。9月のセンチュリーライドを楽しみに毎日自転車トレーニングを行っているそうです。

チョット休憩

Kazu 激しいゲームが終わりベンチでチョット休憩 Yukari 久し振りのテニスコートへワイキキをウォーキングしてやって来ました。ベンチの Kazu を見て次のゲームまでベンチで回復するのを待った方がいいよとアドバイスを26日にしていました。27日は、空を飛んで日本へ向っています。

うまく上げたのに!!

Toko が Ben からのロブボールを同じようにロブで返しましたが残念ながら風で少し流されコートの外に出てしまいました。12月初めからマラソンとテニスを楽しみにやって来た Toko & Tokio 最後のプレーとなり日本へ帰ってしまいます。存分に楽しもうとゲームを楽しんでいました。

Merry Christmas

Misako & Hanazono returned to KPTC this year winter season as ever from Tokyo.

ウォーミングアップ

2年振りにやって来た Abraham 朝7時前コートに着き早速ウォーミングアップを開始しました。ウォームアップの相手 Fred も久し振りのハワイ巧みなボールコントロールでボールがドンドン繋がりウォーミングアップに最適な相手です。 Abraham もボールの感触を確かめるように繋がるボールを返しいいウォーミングアップを行っています。

Hi Michael and Ayako!

Michael plays at Kapiolani periodically but, plays and teaches tennis all over. He also loves to surf. Our good friend, Ayako, is a fun person to have around. She recently returned back to Japan last Saturday. She'll be back in April. Merry Christmas, everyone!
