The weather at Waikiki in Hawaii, is the best in the world. It is warm and dry throughout the year (70~90F). No hurricanes, no heavy rains, no earthquakes. Money can not buy weather. So here is the best place to play tennis and to realize the successful aging.

I usally play tennis at this court. I did play here between 7:00pm to 9:00pm last night. As it is not humid in April, it’s wonderful to play tennis. After playing tennis, I had a sauna bath and a cold bath. I felt relaxed. Anyway, rainbow top spin was hard on me. I was too tense.
緑が広がるカピオラニパーク
When the sun comes up over Diamond head and the sunshine reaches Kapiolani park everything looks beautiful in the morning sunshine. It’s wonderful to see light clear blue sky, green trees, shiny grass and to play tennis. To enjoy this great park is one of my many pleasure.
I got back to Japan
Swine flu has become a serious problem in the world. So how's it effecting Hawaii?
Anyway, I really enjoyed playing tennis @ Kapiolani this time. Steve, Hiro, Alan, Ben, Jerry,Meggie, Curt and other people said "your play has improved". I'm so happy to hear that. Thanks a lot. I wanted to take pics on my last day with you guys but I forgot, uh-oh.........I'll be there around the 4th of July maybe.
See you then:)

Court report: Kapiolani Park needs new rules
The report says the park is a special case and needs its own rules and regulation to control art sales, craft fairs and other events that have raised concerns about commercialization of the public park.
Officials are concerned about legal challenges to events in the park.
The Probate Court report was prepared by attorney Bruce Graham following a request by the City Council.
Graham determined that existing events do not violate the park's public nature because they are considered cultural exhibits even though they may make sales.
Michelle Matson, president of the Kapiolani Park Advisory Council, disagrees. She says exhibiters should not be allowed to make sales in the park.

WE Enjoy seeing the blog about Tennis in Kapiolani Park; Thank you very much.
The milk vetch is full in the rice field near my house in Fukui, Japan.
The contrast of the neighboring mountains is so beautiful.
It is planted not only to keep a beautiful scene, but also to keep rice safe and delicious.
It is also used to absorb the nitrogen. It will become very nice organic fertilizer.
Also we can use less of the pesticide, so safe and delicious rice will grow.

E-mail From Ogawa-san(弟) and Takano-san(兄)
While watching the blog, we missed KP and we wanted to go to Hawaii. So we have decided; we depart from Japan on 4/21, and leave Honolulu for Japan on 4/24. Though it is a very short trip, in reality, only 3 nights in HI, we are really looking forward to visiting KP.
Thanks.

HONOLULU (KHNL) - The City and County of Honolulu makes it moving day for homeless in Kapiolani Park and Kuhio Beach. Monday, the areas officially became off-limits to overnight camping.
Where will they go? The answer is anywhere. An over-pass, under a bench, even on the street. Homeless say they aren't told where to go but they can't stay here.

Kapiolani Park overnight camping ban in effect
WAIKIKI (KHNL) Kapiolani Park and Kuhio Beach go through a major change starting tonight.
They'll be closed nightly, as part of a new campaign by the city, to clean up the area and to keep the homeless from living there.
Prior to last month's big clean up effort, hundreds of homeless people camped here.
