Nobuko & Zenji returned to KPTC this year again from Chiba and will be staying here until July 20.

波が高いよ!!

クヒオ・ビーチにレッドフラッグが立っています。波が高いので波乗り禁止のフラッグです。ビーチの環境についてこんな風にフラッグで注意喚起や禁止通告をしています。クラゲが発生するとクラゲ発生注意のイエロー・フラッグが立てられます。

Iroha staying in Ko olina is busy by coming and going with Waikiki every day. And she was in favor with a beautiful dancer. And the beautiful dancer taught a dance in constant attendance on Iroha. Lucky. But I was just looking, and  finished. A regret!

バンド・スタンド

バスでカピオラニ公園にやって来てバスストップを降りると目に入ってくるのがバンド・スタンドです。真っすぐ池の方向に進み右側の道を進んでゆくとバンド・スタンドと正対したベンチがずらりと並んでいます。色々なパフォーマンスが行われるのをこのベンチからのんびり眺めることができます。

This morning Amy brought Jyun. He is visiting from Bellevue east of Seattle and will be staying here until coming Sunday.

のどかな眺め

ワイキキからゆっくりカピオラニ公園を歩いてテニスコートにやってきました。4面テニスコートを分ける中央を進んで来てダイヤモンド・ヘッド方向を見るとNo4コートでこれからウォーミングアップをしようとするプレーヤーがいます。その向こう緑の芝生が広がりダイヤモンド・ヘッドがきれいに見えています。

昼寝

サーフィンを充分楽しんだサーファーが自転車にサーフボードをくくり付けカピオラニ公園の芝生広場を進んできました。大きな木陰がある場所に来て自転車を倒しその横にマットを広げ体を横たえてゆったり至福の昼寝が始まったようです。好きなスポーツを楽しんで心地よい場所で昼寝ハワイは、いいところです。

It's great seeing and playing with our friends at Kapiolani Park. But today, Nori returned back home to Kyoto. See you when you return in September!

散歩

テニスが終わりアメリカ杉並木をバス停方向に歩いているとバンドスタンド北側で何かが動いているので近づいてみました。全身が黒い鶏の母親がヒヨコを6羽と共に芝生の中の虫を突きながら散歩をしていました。カピオラニ公園内に鶏の家族が色々な場所に済み付いています。

Today Nori will leave for his Kyoto to home.

Aloha, Kara and Alex!

After playing tennis with us and playing tourist for the past week, Kara and Alex returned back home to Covina, California this morning. Take care and aloha, you two!

走りたくなります!!

テニスコートを北側に出てマノア方向を見るときれいに手入れされた芝生広場が広がっています。視線を遠くに向けるとヤシの木がスクッと起ちその向こうに木陰を作ってくれる木々が配置されています。その向こうにマノアの山が見え青い空が広がる中白い雲がかかり走ってこいと言っているようです。

Lucky Tuesday

 

While Nobu and Take watched sunset in a beach on the night of Tuesday, we talked about love. Then it was Japanese and was called out to from behind saying "please have it". There were many pizzas on the table when I turned around. Because I hated getting food from an unknown person, I declined it. However, to the Japanese woman that the person looks good and the good clergyman( not Ben) of the feeling.

I was recommended many times and decided to get it. When I finished eating the pizza of the pineapple, and I turned around, a clergyman smiled, and he told me to eat another one. And I ordered the pizza of the sausage. When I finished eating and looked up at the sky, the sky was stained with crimson. It was the Happy !Lucky!Nopie(Nobu)day .

Sushi Pants

Susan がコートにやってきてウエアーを見ると握り寿司模様の Sushi Pants でした。描かれている握り寿司本物そっくりおいしそうな握り寿司がずらりと並んでいます。握り寿司の名前日本語の呼び名で書かれています。日本の食文化ドンドン浸透しています。

This morning at court #1 & #2; work men are white line painting. From tomorrow we can play tennis at all 4 new courts.

Let's Play Tennis!

Yippeee! The newly resurfaced back courts are great. Warming up on the near side is Noriko and Shin. Nori and Shimo are on the far side. And, Ruth is seen talking through the fence with Katie from New Zealand. Bring your racquet and balls and join us!

LA residents are enjoy playing tennis at the Kapiolani new tennis courts.

素敵なウエアー

Esther に素敵なユニフォームだねと声をかけるとポーズを取ってくれました。カラリングがいいねというと全体を同じカラーにしているんだと上下の色合いを見せてくれました。そのやり取りを見て Masako 笑っています。各プレーヤー色々楽しんでいますね。

We Love Our Blue Courts!

Hi Coffee Alan, Ayako, Ben, and Masako! Actually, we should say bye-bye as Alan returns to Seattle and Masako returns back to Kyoto on Tuesday. Ayako heads back to Japan on Thursday. And, Ben will be here today, tomorrow, and forever!  ;)

どこまで伸びる

カピオラニ公園車道とウォーキングロードを挟む両側に樹木が植栽されています。どの木も木陰ができるように剪定され気持ち良い公園を作ってくれています。その中のヤシの木が電線を越えて伸びています。公園管理の人達電線に影響しないよう木の伸長を観察しています。

Sam & Betty return to their hometown Aloha state from LA and will be staying here 3 weeks more.

Seikai came back again from Osaka and will be staying here 9 days.

Happy Birthday to the United States! Here are two players, Mana and Jiro, who are wearing our patriotic colors. Have a great Fourth, everyone!  :)

長身のプレーヤー

テニスコートを跨ぐようにプレーヤーの長い影写っています。こんな風に身長があればどんなボールでも打ち返すことができサーブもビッグサーブが打ち込めそうです。朝日に照らされた影も太陽が昇るにしたがって縮んで行きました。自分の持ち味でプレーをすることが肝心です。
