毎日8時頃 Ricky の運転でコートに Yuko が現れます。 Ricky は、膝を痛めているのでプレーはしませんがコートが空いていると自動球出し機でセルフトレーニングを行います。 Yuko コート狭しと走り回りボールを拾いまくりラリーが続きます。

Sanada Couple (Kanazawa)

テニスプレーはしませんが Yutaka に会いにコートにやって来ました。結婚15周年ハワイに行こうとやってきて楽しんでいます。Yutaka のゲームをベンチから観戦しゲーム後ラケットを借りて少しボールを打ちました。日本に帰ると雪が積もり中々屋外のスポーツができないので滞在中ダイヤモンド・ヘッドに登ったりして楽しんでいます。

College Student Tennis Get Together at Kapiolani Courts

Two college students, Olivia (Sweden), and Caroline (Denmark), from Hawaii Pacific University (HPU) organized an informal tennis tournament for their fellow classmates at the Kapiolani tennis courts. They hit the ball very well...even better than Ozzie!

Esther & Shirley

Esther のボレーがネットにかかりポイントを取られてしまいました。Shirley が次のサーブに入るのにポジションを変えながら Esther に声をかけています。次のポイントを取ろうとお互いに確認しあって次のプレーに移ることでいい方向にゲームが展開してゆきます。

ジョギング・グループ

ホノルル・マラソンが終了した直後ですがカピオラニ公園ジョギング・ロード沢山のランナーが走っています。休日には、10Kランニングを楽しむグループランが行われテニスコート脇を沢山のランナーが走っています。一日中沢山の人達が体を動かし楽しんでいます。

Honolulu City Lights and Kawaiaha'o Church

Every year, the City holds the Honolulu City Lights program to celebrate Christmas at Honolulu Hale (city hall). Across the street is the historic Kawaiaha'o Church where they host various programs in the evening at 7 pm on workdays and 6 pm on weekends. This is Queen Maile who was greeting the visitors.

寿司パンツ

Susan お気に入りの寿司パンツでコートにやって来ました。本当によくできたデザインで本物のようにおいしい寿司がズラリと並んでいます。トロとウナギを摘み食いしようと Susan に近づきました。

Saitama tennis couple Yoshiko & Mitsuo come back to again this year.

Wet Balls

On Sunday, rain, lightning and thunder struck Oahu.  These tennis balls were last seen trying to dry themselves on the fence.  They wanted to be ready when the players returned the following morning to greet and smash them around.

Shirley Last Day

16日 Shirley コートでプレーできる最後の日なのでプレーが終わった後パーティーをしようと準備が整っています。まだ沢山のメンバーが集まるのでそれまでゲームをしようとNo2コートに Esther , Ben , Susan , Shirley , Walter が集まっています。 Shirley 3月に帰って来ます。

Keith の誕生日コート上でお祝いをしました。Susan と Shirley が Keith を挟んでハッピーバースデイを大きな声で歌ってくれました。 Keith も持ち寄られたマラサダを食べながら楽しく二人に挟まれていました。

After match American team(Lori & Bernard) vs Japanese team(Misako & Kazue), Japan team won 6:4.

ダブルレインボー

チョッピリシャワーを感じワイキキ方向に視線をやると大きな虹がかかっていました。よく眺めるとダブルレーンボーです。今季節チョッピリシャワーがあるので大きな虹がよく出てくれます。虹を見るとホンワカいい気分になりますね。

Isao , Chise , Marrin (Kanagawa Ebina)

久し振りのハワイで初めてテニスをしようとコートのやって来ました。Isao は、プレーしませんが Chise , Marrin は、プレーします。 Marrin ハイスクール3年クラブでテニスをしているので的確なショットが飛んできます。 Chise もテニスを楽しんでいるのでラリーが続き熱戦のゲームになりました。
