Bandstand Renovation

カピオラニ公園バンドスタンドが改装されます。舞台を構成する木部が随分年数が経ち朽ちてきているので交換と舞台を保護するシャッターの交換が予定されています。このバンドスタンドで1年中色々な催し物が行われ出演の皆さん楽しくパフォーマンスを行っています。

We found Anne's hiding place but Charlie isn't in Amsterdam

We are still looking for Charlie in Poland

Alan returns back to Kapiolani.  His two bodyguards are Ruth and Masako.

10K Running

恒例のサンデー10Kランニングレース スタート地点へ移動するランナー達 7時スタートに間に合うようクイーンカピオラニ銅像前でエントリーしニュー･オオタニ･ホテル前スタート地点へユックリ集まったり芝生広場でウォーミングアップ 7時スタート ダイヤモンドヘッドRDを上りそこから少し下ってドライアングル･パークを周回折り返しコースをトップランナー35分くらいでゴールします。

Beautiful Day

素敵な景色です。こんな景色の時日本語でなく｢Beautiful Day !!｣と英語で言ったほうがピッタリですね。日本語も色々な表現が出来る言葉がありますがこんな風なきれいな空ときれいな木々の配置そして爽やかな風を感じると｢気持ちよい日だね｣と言うより｢Beautiful Day !!｣ですね。

Steve's Opponents Are Often Found Crying

Look at Steve...just smiling away.  When you play him, you're likely to end up like Sachi...bawling like a baby.

コート周辺清掃

早朝6時過ぎコートに現れた Pauline and Susan メンバーが揃わないのでロッカーから箒と塵取りを出してきて通路の掃除を始めました。モミの木の枯れ枝が落ちてきて周りに散らばっているのをゴミ箱に収容してくれました。コート周辺の紙くずや袋類など集めコート周辺がきれいになりました。定期的にこうやって清掃してくれています。

Cruising Around New York City

One of the activities we enjoyed was the cruise around Manhattan on a boat.  Here's Meg enjoying the view after a big downpour.

Everybody welcome Miyoko(90 years old tennis player) come to KPTC specially Japanese more.

Ben テニスコートに来ると各コートの状況を確認し新たなプレーヤーが来ているとプレーヤーに声をかけ写真を撮り名前やどこから来たのか,何時までいるのか等々取材しています。取材内容を整理して取材後ブログに登録してくれます。色々な内容がブログに掲載されるのもこのような取材のおかげです。

Mieko Returns

After a long time away from tennis, Mieko (on the right) recently stopped by to say hello.  Here, she's sitting with Meg and checking out the action.

Six Pack

Meg sent Curt to the gym for a make over.
Now instead of playing tennis he is fighting off  the ladies.

90 years old Mom Miyoko & her 58 years old daughter Ikuko played single at the court #2. Can you believe it?

Miyoko visit to her daughter Ikuko home from Kochi city. Ikuko lives in Manoa.

Kobayashi family (father Koba & wife Akemi & son Daisuke & daughter-in-law Eri) arrived here and played double at the court # 3.

Ed's New Hairdo

Ed stopped by the salon recently and got a new hairdo.  Diana apparently likes it.  The new do did not have any impact on his backhand; it's still the same as before.
