カピオラニ公園を東の方向に歩いて行き噴水ロータリーを越えダイヤモンド・ヘッドRD登り口左手で沢山の人達が集まっているのに気付き近寄ってみました。沢山の人達がアーチェリーを楽しんでいる所でした。70ｍ,90ｍ,120ｍと3ヵ所のポイントからバランサーの付いたアーチェリーで的を目がけて撃っていました。皆さん非常に上手で真中の小さな円に矢が集まって撃ちこまれています。しばらく見とれていました。

素敵な景色!!

ワイキキからカピオラニ公園に入りウォーキングロードを進んでくると目の前に広がる景色がヤシの木の並木に変わる所から左手にテニスコートが見えてくるいいレイアウトに接します。ズーット遠くを眺めると森の中にいるような雰囲気になります。カピオラニ公園 森林浴をしながらテニスをしたりウォーキングを楽しんだりいい場所です。

Andy Murray Beats Ozzie for Olympic Gold! アンディ ・ マレー はオジーをオリンピックで倒す！

In an upset of major proportions, Andy Murray of Great Britain defeated Ozzie from Kapiolani Park in straight sets.  The American was highly disturbed that the Brit would not play under Kapiolani Park court rules.  As seen in the photo above, Andy celebrated the win while Ozzie continued to express his displeasure with the Brit during the medal ceremony.

雨のテニスコート

シャワーが突然やって来てコートに突き刺さるような勢いで激しく大きな雨粒がコートを濡らしています。たまにこんな風なシャワーが来てコート中水浸し状態にします。激しい雨でもゲーム中やベンチで待っていたプレーヤー誰一人引き上げません。5分から10分待つとハワイの青空が戻って来るのを知っているので屋根の下で待ちます。

Serena Williams Crushes Maria Sharapova for Olympic Gold

Yes, she did it.  Serena easily beat Maria for the gold medal.  She also teamed up with sister, Venus, to win the women's doubles crown as well.  Good job!

No2コートをビーチ側入り口から眺めると熱戦が進行中です。コートに辿り着くとどこのコートが空いているのか又、ベンチに待っているプレーヤーがいるのか等4面コートを眺めながら最初にプレーするコートを決めてゲーム進行の邪魔をしないようゲームの切れ目にコートに入ることでカピオラニコートの一日がスタートします。

With all the recent hacker drama, it's time to relax and look at something pretty...no not a picture of me.  It's the beautiful hibiscus that watches us play tennis week in and out.  Have a nice weekend everyone!

ゲームが終わりテニスコートからバス停の方に歩いてくるといい匂いとその匂いを運ぶ煙がなびいてきました。煙の方向を見るとBBQ準備が整いコンロの上で食材を焼き始めていました。BBQは、準備から出来上がりそして後始末と全てが男の仕事となっているので男性軍が頑張って動き回っていました。
