子供を連れて

Johan が二人の子供を連れてテニスコートに散歩に来ました。女の子と男の子 二人乗りのベビーカーに乗せ女の子は、歩けるので歩かせたりベビーカーに乗せたりしていました。テニスをしないのかと聞くとこの二人と遊ぶのに時間がかかるのでゲームを出来る時間を作ってその内やってくると言っていました。

Keith に Gift Card

カピオラニ・テニスコート気持ちよく毎日テニスができる環境になっているのは、Keith がコート周りを確認しネットの補修,破損時の交換,風避けネットの補修,ライトの交換依頼,スポンジローラ確認と交換,清掃用具確認 等々修理に必要な部材をポケット・マネーで購入しています。そういうことに感謝しようと Charle が音頭を取り Susan が準備をし13日朝No1コートでプレーヤーに集まってもらい Keith へ Gift Card を渡しました!!

Koji Returns!

Hi Koji and Fuku!  Fuku greeted Koji when he stopped by the courts to say "Hello" to everyone. He's been away from tennis for three months while taking care of Jack who is now in a nursing home. And last Saturday was Jack's 80th birthday. Happy Birthday, Jack!

1年振りです!!

Chiba Kashiwa から1年振りにやって来た Kunihiko , Kazumi , Mitsuo が  Ricky , Yuko と再開しました。15日まで毎朝テニスコートにやってくるので皆さんお手合わせよろしく!!

Yutaka プレゼントをもらう

ハワイ島に8日行っており久し振りのテニスコート Susan と Pauline がテニスボールが入った箱を持ってきてコートメンバーからのプレゼントだと Yutaka にその箱を渡してくれました。コート補修用のポリエステル・ロープ 50m 一巻きと15m 一巻きを今回持参し Keith に渡したのでそのことに対するプレゼントだと判りました。皆さんありがとうございます!!ドンドン使って行きます。

Welcome Back!

Ben recently returned from a month-long vacation to Korea.  After his triple bypass heart surgery, Alan (second from the left) stopped by the tennis courts to visit his friends. He hopes to begin playing in July. And, Mimi and Lolo came back to the islands after getting married last autumn. It takes them nearly a day to get to Hawaii from Paris.  It's great to have you all back!  :)

1セットが終わりベンチでチョッピリ休憩した後 Pauline 久し振りなんで今日は引き上げると帰り支度をしています。 Charle と Ben が Pauline に体調が戻ったのか確かめています。 Pauline 大丈夫 と答えています。Yuko が丁度やって来てメンバーを変えてゲームを始めようかと準備をしています。

トローリーに乗ってカピオラニ公園に入って行くといつものように歩いて見る視線と違い同じ景色が違って見えました。色々な場所違った視線で見ると気付かなかった所が見えたりします。同じ道を毎日同じように歩いたりするのでなく違う道筋を通って色々感じようと思っています。

Same outfits! It was interesting when Andy Murray played Fabio Fognini of Italy. They both wore similar neon yellow Adidas shirts, white caps, black shorts, and wrist bands (right wrist is black and left wrist is yellow). How funny.

Congratulations to the women's champion.  Rafa plays Novak tomorrow for the men's title.

熱戦が展開

ゆっくりカピオラニ公園ウォーキングロードを歩いてくるとパカーン,パカーンと打球音が聞こえてきます。順々No1コートが見えてくると熱戦が展開されています。よーく見るとナダル・モデル・ナイキ・シューズを履いて動き回る Fuku の姿が確認できました。気持ちよいラリーが続く素敵なゲームが続いています。

トレーニング

カピオラニ公園入り口のビーチでビーチバレー・トレーニングが行われています。朝6時直ぐからビーチにネットを張り沢山ボールを持参しサーブ&レシーブ,トス,スマッシュと次々出されるボールに飛びついています。ビーチバレーの大会頻繁に行われるのでその大会に向けたトレーニングや遊びで行う人達と多彩なプレーヤーが楽しんでいます。

Masako arrived already June 2 and Nori yesterday and come to the court together this morning.

 

Doctor Mert returned to her daughter's home from Greenville MS and will stay until June 21.

チョッピリ風が

No1コートでは、熱戦が展開されていますがまだNo2コートにメンバーが揃っていません。素敵なコートと気持ちよい青い空 ヤシの木がビーチ側になびいているので上空は、少し風が強いことが判ります。ゲームが始まると風がビーチ側に吹いていることを確認しラリーをしないととインプットしメンバーが揃うのを待ちました。

ハワイ島 Hilton Waikoloa King's Land にやって来た Yutaka 芝生エリア所々に配置されているハンモックでユラリ,ユラリとリラックス 心地よい風を感じながらハンモックに身を預けいい気持ちで素敵な時間を過ごしています。
