I did it.

I played golf after an interval of ten years with my dad today. I can do that. I better play in HI with Ben, Alan, Ruth, Fumiko, Michiyo, Takeshi, Mitsuko someday.

チョッピリ疲れてます

定期的な ARMY の早朝トレーニング ランニングを10Km終わった後に芝生グランドで腕立て伏せ50回を3セット,腹筋50回を3セット行わなうのですが走り終わってやっとここに来たので休憩したい雰囲気が全員にあります。しかしリーダーは、早速腕立て伏せを開始しろと指示していますがチョッピリ動きが緩慢です。この後指示されたように腕立て伏せ,腹筋とこなしていました。

Big Aloha Shlomo Benderly come to KPTC and play with us !!

Shlomo is Jewish,  he had taught biblical Hebrew to UH students for many years.
He lives in San  Diego or Israel Galilee their home now.

John & Carolyn will return to their Oklahoma home tomorrow. Good bye see you next year May again !!

Kazu & Yuko will visit to their country Japan tomorrow and will return to here Nov.29.

駐車場が一杯

大きなイベントがある時カピオラニ公園周りの駐車スペースがビッシリ埋め尽くされることがあります。カピオラニ公園バス停とバンドスタンドの間にある駐車スペースがこんなにビッシリ駐車していることは、非常に珍しいです。ここがこんな風だとカピオラニ公園周回のパーキングスペース殆ど開いていない状態ですね。こんな時遠い所に車を停め芝生広場を延々と歩いてくるテニスプレーヤーもいます。

グッドタイミングだよ!! Good timing.

セットが丁度終わった所に Ben が現れたので Susan が｢いいタイミングだね!!さあやろー｣と声をかけコートに入って行こうとしています。しばらく待つ時,メンバーが揃わない時,こんな風にタイミング良く直ぐゲームに入れる時と色々な場面があります。グッドタイミングの時運の良さに感謝感謝!!いいショットが打てると信じましょう。

Susan who just finished a set is waiting for somebody. Ben has appeared right on time.  "It's good timing! Come on over Ben, let's play" You are just in time. You do not need to wait. You have good timing! Let's go hit some good shots."

Joan 前に!!

フォア側に来たボールを Joan 深くリーターンしたので浮いたボールが返って来るだろうと予測し前に出て行こうとしています。厳しいボールを打った後前に出て行くことで相手にプレッシャーを与えることになります。ボレーがし易いボールが返って来ることが多いので前に出てボレーをする体勢で待つのがいいです。この後予測通りフォア・ボレーで Joan ポイントを取りました。

カルガモに餌を!!

バンドスタンド前の池近くを歩いていると白いバケツを持った人が池に近づいてきました。何をするのかなと思いながらしばらく見ているとカルガモに餌をやっていました。定期的に餌を与えているようです。カルガモが安心して子育てをしこの池を住み家にしている理由が判りました。いつものんびり悠々と池を泳いでいるのは、食べ物の心配をあまりしなくていいこともあったのですね。
