Thank You Keith!!

You are the best man. In Japan, a silent hero is the most respectable person. But in USA, it is not. So I would like to announce your behavior to everybody using the blog. Now Keith is the most labeled person in this blog. Look at the right side bottom in this blog.

We call this kind of person Data Naoto in Japan. Date Naoto is the person name who donates many things without notification like Kieth (silence hero).

Thank you, Keath. And thank you, Ozzie for letting us know the "silent hero".

joe cunningham ✆ to me show details 8:19 PM (2 hours ago) Aloha Hiro: Keith is a great man who donates much time in keeping the tennis court equipment repaired. You give him much deserved recognition on the blog. Thanks to both of you and to the many others who provide material for this blog. Much aloha.
Ben said...
Bible Gospel Matthew chapter 6 verse 3~4. Jesus says when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. I believe that God will bless richly to Keith.

Beach Volleyball
At Kuhio beach people are enjoying beach volleyball as the
sunset is about to come down. Lots of people enjoy it on
the beach and lawn. In Hawaii you can have exercising
  opportunities everywhere with ease.

Injury Prevention

Tennis injuries can be prevented by selecting the right equipment, warming up and cooling down properly, stretching before and after playing, regular sports massage, good nutrition as well as conditioning or strengthening yourself to play the game.
Warm Up
Warming up is often overlooked but should be part of your injury prevention routine. A good warm up will:
  • Increase the temperature of muscles - they work better at a temperature of 40 degrees.
  • Increase blood flow and oxygen to muscles.
  • Increase the speed of nerve impulses - making you faster.
  • Increase range of motion at joints reducing the risk of tearing muscles and ligaments.
Warm up will not only help avoid injury but will also improve performance.
A warm up should consist of:
  • Gentle jog (or other form of pulse raiser) to circulate blood and oxygen supplying the muscles with more energy to work with.
  • Dynamic or active stretching drills and tennis specific exercises
Dynamic stretching has now largely replaced static stretching as the warm-up method of choice. They include drills such as running with high knees, heels to bum and cariocas. This should be performed for a minimum of 5 minutes, up to a maximum of 20 minutes, with movements gradually becoming larger and faster. This is preferable to static stretching as it keeps the body warmer and heart rate higher, and more resembles the type of movements which are required in most sports.
The warm up should last between 15 and 30 minutes. Do not warm up too early. The benefits are lost after about 30 minutes of inactivity.
Cool Down
This is also sometimes overlooked in favour of the bar but can help avoid injuries and boost performance. The aim of the cool down is to:
  • Gradually lower heart rate.
  • Circulate blood and oxygen to muscles, restoring them to the condition they were in before exercise.
  • Remove waste products such as lactic acid.
  • Reduce the risk of muscle soreness.
The cool down should consist of a gentle jog followed by light stretching.

Before Easter, S&P Mentioned.

A key credit agency issued an unprecedented warning to the United States government Monday, urging Washington to get a grip on its finances or risk losing the nation's sterling credit rating.
For the first time, Standard & Poor's lowered its long-term outlook for the federal government's fiscal health from "stable" to "negative," and warned of serious consequences if lawmakers fail to reach a deal to control the massive federal deficit.
An impasse could prompt the agency to strip the government of its top investment rating in the next two years, S&P said. A loss of the triple-A rating would ripple through the American economy, making loans more expensive and credit more difficult to obtain.
The downgrade was interpreted as a rebuke to President Barack Obama and congressional Republicans, admonishing them to put politics aside and come up with a long-term financial plan as soon as possible.
"This is a warning: Don't mess around," said Robert Bixby, executive director of the Concord Coalition, a nonpartisan group that is pushing for deficit reduction.
Analysts at S&P have never before used the outlook to cast doubt on the nation's credit worthiness.
In response, stocks suffered their worst slide in a month. The Dow Jones industrial average plunged 245 points before recovering to close down 140 points for the day.

Next shot will be okay
Confirming the return shot went passed a little bit over the back line,
Frances and Jannie, checking the string tension, are moving to take

  ready for the next play.

Getting the rain water out
When I arrived at the courts  after 6:00a.m. I saw the courts
soaked with rainfall.  Taking out the roller from the warehouse
I started to get the water out.  Keith, who comes out after 6:00a.m.,
joins me in that work. It is the early morning players' job to
get rid of the water and fallen leaves.

Ready to receive a service-ball wherever it comes to.
Esther is ready toreceive and Kagawa-san, her partner, is watching
serve-receive movement with loosened body.  They are ready to hit back
a shot wherever it comes to. Seeing this positioning, the server
wonders where to serve.  We should always take this ideal positioning.
