ワイキキに虹

ワイキキの通りを包み込むような虹が架かっています。クッキリとした大きな虹が朝のシャワー時よく見られます。霧のようなチョッピリシャワーと朝日の輝きがこんな大きな虹をプレゼントしてくれます。

Kapiolani Park Group: No Parking Fee Hikes!

This was always going to be a tough sell, so it’s hardly a surprise that community groups are lining up against a proposal that would double parking fees at some city parks.

The Kapiolani Park Preservation Society said it does not support a Honolulu City Council bill that would double parking meter rates at public parks that include Kapiolani and Aala.

The society said the measure fails to promote free and open access to Kapiolani Park as dictated by the Kapiolani Park trust.

Almost Spring in Maryland

It was 37 degrees F this morning when David and I went for a walk, but the daffodils are in full bloom in Maryland. Our neighborhood has a pretty sea of daffodils.

Hiromi & Chizuko

Hiromi がサーブをフォア側に強く打ち込みました。 Chizuko ボールの軌跡を見ながらポジションを中央を狭めた位置取りにしています。こういう陣形だとリターンの場所が限定されるのでリターンボールをボレーし易くなります。予想通り Chizuko のフォア側にリターンボールが返ってきて Chizuko ボレーを鮮やかに決めました。

Chizuko , Yutaka コートで出会うと同じ Black ウエアー これは、写真を撮らないとと言うことで二人超接近で写真を撮りました。この後 Chizuko , Yutaka ペアでゲームを行いウエアー同様息の合ったプレーが続き2セット連続で勝利しました。

Masa & Susan

Masa 初めてのハワイ Nara Japan から来て友達に教えられたカピオラニコートを29日見に来ました。プレーを出来る恰好なので Yutaka ラケットを貸して Susan がカピオラニルールなど教えゲームを楽しみました。Masa は、1日に帰ってしまうので次回ラケットなど持参しカピオラニに帰ってくると話していました。

If you feel, Say " it is too cold in the Bus."

There is a post in the Bus.
If you see something, Say something.

In the Bus, too much air conditioning. So very very very cold.
We have to notify the drivers that it is too cold and wast of energy.

So I would like to Say;
If you feel, Say " it is too cold in the Bus." in addition to "If you see something, Say something."

Everybody, when you get on the Bus and feel cold, Say " it is too cold in the Bus."
Too cold is not good not only for HI but also for the world.

To Ozzie:I can not recover. Once you delete the posts, it is impossible to recover.  So you have to apologize to the contributors who post on 1st and 2nd March for your screwed up the blog and to ask them to post again. Your faults. The contributors for 2 days were Curt, Ben, K, Yutaka, Hiro, Ed and yourself. The posts on 3/1,2 were 18 posts. And more than 40 comments there.
And you have to bring the cakes for them.
