A winning shot
Susan hit deep into the center, watching her shot to get a point.
Her partner, Pauline, was standing in the middle position ready to
hit back the ball if the opponent would return Susan's shot to her.
夕方のビーチ
夕方カピオラニ公園を散歩しバンド･スタンド辺りから海側に出てきました。この辺り砂浜が少し狭くなっており直ぐ海の波の動きを感じられます。砂浜一面沢山の足跡が残され朝から沢山の人達がここで過ごしたことが分かります。この足跡は、翌日3時頃から危険物確認,砂浜整備が行われ消えてしまいます。

どうだ!!
Susan がセンター方向に深いボールを打ち｢どうだ!!｣このボールでポイントを取るぞという感じでボールの方向を見つめています。Pauline もボールの飛んだ位置を見つめながら決まるだろうという雰囲気のなかリターンされてもいいように中間位置で待っています。Susan が気持ちを込めて打ったので深いいいボールが決まりました。A winning shot

A close shot
Hiro run to the ball which came very close to the line.
His partner, Masa, was watching where the ball would touch down.
The ball made a slicing movement as going down the line and
escaped Hiro's swing.

Service going into as aimed
Jimmy's first service went into the opponent's backhand side as aimed
and with that service his partner, Sachiko, expected an easy return ball
for her to volley it back, standing at middle position. A strong service makes
his/her partner positioning secure.

際どいショット
相手のリターンボールがライン際に飛んできました。Hiro がそのボールを追いかけながらこれは、かなり際どいぞ とボールに接近しようとしています。Masa もどこにボールが落ちるのか見極めようとジーット ボールを注視しています。このボールは、Down The Line で少しスライスし懸命に追いかけた Hiro のラケットが僅かに届かずナイスショットでした。A close shot

熱戦が繰り広げられています
ゲームが終わって次のゲームまで待っている時コートの外に出て別のコートの状況を眺めるとどのコートでも熱戦が繰り広げられています。待っている時ベンチで待つのでなくチョット外に出て他のコートに目を向け良いプレーを見ることで刺激になります。色々な方法でリラックスして次の出番に備えています。Kawai and Peter
