This parakeet bird was watching some great tennis last weekend at the Kapiolani tennis courts. It's probably a domestic pet that flew away from its owner. Normally, parakeets are energetic and very social. For whatever reason, this bird seemed weak and listless. After retrieving it with Ozzie's help, Yuko took it home to care for it.
P.S. Yuko informed me that she fed and cared for the parakeet for a few days but, it passed away quietly on Wednesday. :(
