たわわな椰子の実

カピオラニ公園周りやワイキキ周辺に沢山椰子の木が植栽されています。椰子の木もきちんと成長しているので毎年立派な実を育てています。40年くらい前椰子の木の下を通っていた人に椰子の実が落ち怪我をしたことがあります。ホノルル市がその人に400$の見舞金を出したことから椰子の木の下で実が落ちるのを待つ人が増えたそうです。そういう騒動があり今では、実が大きくなる前に椰子の実を取る作業をしで行っています。ヤシの実ジュースは、農園で熟したヤシの実を取ってきて売っているので爽やかな甘さがします。皆さんくれぐれもヤシの実が落ちてくるのを待たないように!!今は、400$支払っていません。
Ther're many palm trees in Kapiolani park and around Waikiki area also.Coconuts crop well every year. About 40years ago a person who got an injury by coconut fell down and Honolulu city gave a gift of money $400 after that happend some people are waiting under palm trees but the city take coconuts off before get ripe now. Coconut juice is sweet and fresh. Anyway, don't wait under the trees if you got injury you can not recieve any money.
